Okay, I admit it takes some gumption. What do I have that you don’t already know?
You’ve probably taken a gazillion sales trainings and sales courses. If you’re anything like me, you are always looking for the edge. You know that no matter how good you get at sales prospecting, sales presentations, closing sales or following up on sales there is always something more to learn.
Hell, you could take the same exact sales training two times in a row and learn things that you somehow didn’t get the first time around.
Essentially the articles here at “The Sales Course” are designed to basically answer the following: “How I raised myself from Failure to Success at Selling.” BTW if you haven’t read Frank Bettger’s Classic. It’s now an assignment.
Very few of us are born to sell. For many of us, professionals, entrepreneurs selling at first seems like a necessary evil that we have to learn in order to survive. For others, sales offers the kind of freedom that no other career offers.
I don’t know where you are on the spectrum of sales people. Do you suck at selling or hate the very idea of selling? do you think sales people are pushy, slick, sleazy con artists? Or do you understand that the true meaning of the word “sales” and “selling” are based in the Norwegian word meaning “To Serve”? Do you enjoy selling and desire to take it to the next level? Are you interested in automating parts of the sales process so that you are more effective in how you use your time?
There will be plenty here for you.
